because of that - for me - important bug in windows vista, i thought it could be useful to have that topic in english too.

first, my situation. I've windows vista and a mapped network drive, on which an executable program is located. right after booting into windows vista, i click on a link to that program on the network drive and get a bluescreen. I've already installed windows vista sp1, but nothing changed the situation.

the only resolution for that bug is - that before starting that program, go into windows explorer. click on that network drive, and so windows vista reconnects that drive. after that, everything seems to work fine.
